* DVDs are ready for collection, from our well sign posted sales point, within 15-20mins after the end of each ceremony.
* The graduation ceremony DVD begins with an introduction to the University and the City of Edinburgh. It features shots of various students and their families and then progresses to the ceremony itself. This is filmed using three cameras and featuring all aspects of the ceremony and every graduand as they are congratulated by the Vice Chancellor.
* The University of Edinburgh holds its graduation ceremonies in the magnificient McEwan Hall which was built by Sir Robert Rowand Anderson between 1888 & 1897 in the Italian Renaissance style. The building was funded by the brewer and MP William McEwan. Its lavish decoration was completed over 3 years by William Palin featuring goddesses representing the Arts and Science and Literature
